General Manager John Stoddard and officials of Unite HERE UNITE HERE is a labor union with more than 450,000 active members in the United States and Canada, predominantly in the hotel, food service, apparel and textile manufacturing, laundry, warehouse, and casino gaming industries. Local 11.
Stoddard did not meet directly with union officials. He learned through
intermediaries that the union would ease its boycott boycott, concerted economic or social ostracism of an individual, group, or nation to express disapproval or coerce change. The practice was named (1880) after Capt. if he advocated for
a two-year contract ending in 2006.
The May 30 L.A. Story titled "Heavy Traffic" misstated
James Okazaki's title. He is assistant general manager of the Los
