SEC. 529 COLLEGE SAVINGS PLANS

In the January/February 2002 California CPA article, "Planning With Sec. 529 College Savings Plans," the author reported that gift tax returns must be filed for gifts over $10,000. According to Rev. Proc. 2001-59, the annual gift exclusion for 2002 is $11,000.
