Correction.
In Jan Tumlir's end-of-year report from Los Angeles published in the December issue [On the Ground, p.65], the architectural team responsible for the renovation of the Blum & Poe gallery was erroneously identified as OpenOffice An open source suite of business applications from OpenOffice.org that runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and various Unix versions. Founded by Sun which is its main supporter, OpenOffice.org's version is a lighter edition of Sun's StarOffice. Compatible with Microsoft Office files, OpenOffice includes a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics and drawing program and provides access to popular databases.. The renovation was actually conducted by Escher GuneWardena Architects. Artforum regrets the error.
