In the letter to the editor titled "Pusher pusher Drug slang 1. A person who sells drugs, especially the 'heavies'–eg, heroin 2. A metal hanger or umbrella rod used to scrape residue in crack stems  Syndrome" by Paci Matteo Matteo is the Italian form of the given name Matthew. Another form is Mattia.

  • Matteo Bisiani, Italian archer
  • Matteo Ferrari, Italian football player who currently plays for A.S.
 in the June 9004 issue of the Journal, readers should take note that "Paci" is the family surname SURNAME. A name which is added to the christian name, and which, in modern times, have become family names.
     2. They are called surnames, because originally they were written over the name in judicial writings and contracts.
 and "Matteo" is the author's first name. For the purpose of citing or retrieving the letter, therefore, readers should specify, "Paci" as the author's last name. The Journal regrets any confusion about the author's last name.
