Correction to: G6-450 Earns PC Magazine Editors' Choice.

: GTW) today announced a correction to a news release issued November 16, 1998 titled "G6-450 Earns PC Magazine Editors' Choice."

The correction should be made in the fourth paragraph of the release. The G6-450 configuration listed should include the CD-RW (CD-ReWritable) The only rewritable CD technology. CD-RW disks look like other CD media, but with close inspection, they have a more polished surface with a very dark blue-gray cast.  drive and a different price. The drive was not referenced in the original release.

The configuration, as tested by PC Magazine, included 128MB of SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) A type of dynamic RAM (DRAM) memory chip that has been widely used since the late 1990s. SDRAM chips eliminated wait states by dividing the chip into two cell blocks and interleaving data between them. , a 16MB AGP video card, 10GB hard drive, VX900 19" monitor (18" viewable), DVD-ROM DVD-ROM: see digital versatile disc.
