Correction (published Sept. 20, 2009): Religion: The phone number for Central Presbyterian Church Located on the northeast corner of Brazos and Bois d'Arc (now Eighth Street), Central Presbyterian Church in Austin Texas traces its roots to the organization of the first Presbyterian church in Austin on Sunday, October 13, 1839. That event, conducted by Rev.  is 345-8724. An item in The Bulletin on Page D4 on Saturday had a wrong number.

Chagdud Dechhen Ling - Chagdud Khadro returns to Oregon to give Red Tara empowerment at 7 p.m. Thursday, 198 N. River Road in Cottage Grove. Khadro is the wife of the late Chagdud Rinpoche, who taught Buddhism in Eugene and Cottage Grove in the 1980s. She now resides in Brazil where she continues to carry out his work.
