Correction: USA.

In the article, "Hope is Everywhere" (NA, Dec), Ingrid Walter reports that Dr James Dula is the architect of the Prince George's County Africa Trade Office (ATO). That is incorrect. At the time of publication, Dr James Dula was the president and CEO of the Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce.

However, in his capacity as president/CEO, he was not involved with the establishment of the Africa Trade Office. Patricia Hayes Parker is the director of the Africa Trade Office, and has held the position since the office was established in March 2008 when ATO was established, in collaboration with the Small Business Administration and the International Business Programme, a division of the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation.

Initial seed money to establish the office came through the efforts of Senator Benjamin Cardin in collaboration with Senator Barbara Mikulski, in the form of a grant, administered by the US Small Business Administration.
