Correction: EPSON's IT-H5000 pricing.


TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1996--Correction: Epson America Inc. introduced the IT-H5000, a new Pentium-based POS (1) See point of sale and packet over SONET.

A sophisticated Intelligent Terminal, the IT-H5000 gives retailers the power and flexibility to run a variety of off-the-shelf software programs combined with a complete solution for slip, receipt, check validation, coupon and bar-code printing. The IT-H5000 features 75, 100 and 133 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  configurations with 8MB of onboard RAM, expandable up to a maximum of 72MB.
