The Thorne Property is bisected by two major highways and a major power transmission facility is located on the boundary of the property. The announcement of a new gold discovery in February, 1996, (9.3 m assaying 15.7 g/t) has attracted the attention of virtually every major mining company in Canada. The east and west zones are separated by the Tatachakapika River and both zones remain open on strike to the east, west and to depth. Gold mineralization has been intersected in widths varying from 1.5 metres to over 100 metres. The average vertical depth drilled to date is 100 metres, but gold mineralization has been intersected over 300 metres vertically below surface.
