Communications Corporation of Toronto today announced it has purchased News Canada, a unique multi-media news distribution service also based in Toronto. No terms of the purchase were disclosed. News Canada is Canada's foremost non-time-sensitive news distribution agency. The company's newspaper columns, in both official languages, reach three out of every five Canadians and appear in an average of 217 different newspapers coast-to-coast. News Canada will become a member of the Communications and Marketing Services Division within MDC.
