HANOVER, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 15, 1996--United States Patent No. 5,440,738 was recently awarded to Tally Systems for its proprietary software inventorying technology. Tally Systems invented Census Recognition Technology (automatic inventory of PC hardware and software) and first applied the now patented technology in PC Census. NetCensus continues to utilize the same technology.
