PC DOCS Group International Inc. today reported financial results for the nine months and three months ended March 31, 1995.

Revenues for the nine months ended March 31, 1995 increased 68 percent to $32.4 million, compared to $19.3 million for the same period last year. Net income for the nine months was $3.4 million or $0.28 per share basic, $0.23 per share fully diluted di·lute

Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 1995, reached $13.2 million, an increase of 91 percent over the $6.9 million in the previous year, and an increase of 43 percent over the second quarter revenues of $9.2 million. Net income for the third quarter was $2.0 million or $0.17 per share basic, $0.13 per share fully diluted, compared to essentially breakeven breakeven

 results for the same period last year. Third quarter net income increased 185 percent over the second quarter income of $0.7 million or $0.06 per share basic, $0.05 per share fully diluted.

Significant increases in software sales largely accounted for the dramatic increases in revenues for the nine months and quarter ended March 31, 1995. Software sales were $18.8 million for the nine months compared to $8.8 for the same period last year, an increase of 114 percent. Software services and support sales were $10.0 million compared to $8.7 million, and hardware sales were $3.5 million compared to $1.8 million.

For the quarter, software sales were $8.0 million compared to $3.6 million, an increase of 122 percent. Software services and support sales were $3.6 million compared to $2.9 million, and hardware sales, at $1.6 million, showed a significant increase over the comparable period's $0.4 million.

The gross margin decreased from 88 percent in the second quarter to 76 percent in the third quarter, as a result of the higher percentage of hardware sales.

Expenses in the third quarter increased 8 percent compared to the second quarter, a rate well under the 43 percent quarter-to-quarter increase in revenues.

PC DOCS, Inc. the company's document management division, continued to post strong record breaking sales with a 155 percent increase for the nine months and a 164 percent increase for the third quarter over last year. PC DOCS OPEN continues to gain worldwide market recognition as the leader in document management.
