 Tuesday announced that the Department of Corporations will hold a public hearing on the proposed acquisition of Foundation Health Corp. by Health Systems International Inc.

The hearing will take place at the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  office of the Department of Corporations on Feb. 6, 1997.

Commissioner Bishop stated that, "The hearing is being held to provide an opportunity for members of the public to present their comments for consideration by the Department of Corporations."

Sign-up sheets for speakers will be available at the hearing site. Although not required, all speakers are encouraged to provide the hearing officer with a written copy of their comments.
