Company description: The National Brotherhood of Skiers The National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. (NBS) was founded in February 1973 in Aspen, Colorado, USA and incorporated in 1975. NBS mission is to identify, develop, and support athletes of color who will win international and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the United  Inc. (NBS (National Bureau of Standards) See NIST.

) is a non profit organization (501 c3) that unites predominately African American African American Multiculture A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. See Race.  ski clubs under a national banner.

The growing network of NBS clubs currently consist of 14,000 members. Each club is assigned to one of four regions: Eastern, Midwestern, Rocky Mountain, and Western. There are 81 chapters throughout the United States and in 72 cities and 33 states. Our fiscal year runs from May 1 to April 30. The national elected officers hold two terms and elections are held on the even year 1996.

) in Innsbruck, Austria March 2-9. Thomas Jackson, 14 years old has received a scholarship for academic, and ski race training at the Neustift Ski Collegiate in Innsbruck, Austria.

The primary purpose of the organization is to identify, select and finance capable Olympic caliber minority youth, by providing them with academic and athletic training athletic training Sports medicine The practice of physical conditioning and reconditioning of athletes and prevention of injuries incurred by athletes. See Athlete, Athletic trainer.  scholarships. There are 18 members currently on the NBS National Race Team and 12 of whom attend ski academies for ski race training.

Here are some programs of the NBS: Building Essential Skills and Talents (B.E.S.T.) for the youth. National based ski training program for youth, Olympic scholarship ski academy program and OIS Noun 1. OIS - agency that oversees the intelligence relationships of the Treasury's offices and bureaus and provides a link between the Intelligence Community and officials responsible for international economic policy
