NRT INCORPORATED NRT Incorporated is the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company. It is a subsidiary of Realogy Corporation. NRT's commercial operations rank as the twelfth largest corporate-owned commercial real estate brokerage in the country.  is the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage with approximately 690 offices in 18 of the 30 largest U.S. metropolitan markets and annual sales volume five times that of its nearest competitor.

NRT's formation can be traced to May 1996, when HFS (Hierarchical File System) The file system used in the Macintosh. The first version, known as "Mac OS Standard," was introduced in 1985. HFS+, an enhanced version, came out in 1998 in preparation for the upcoming Mac OS X operating system.  Incorporated (now Cendant Cendant Corporation was a New York-based provider of business and consumer services, primarily within the real estate and travel industries. This February, NRT announced it had filed a Registration Statement with the SEC for a proposed $225 million initial public offering of common stock which it expects to complete in the first half of 1999.
