Company description: Horace Mann Educators Corp. (HMEC HMEC Hybrid Multi-Level Error Control ) is an insurance holding company. Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Springfield, Ill., Horace Mann provides retirement annuities and automobile, homeowners, and life insurance products to the nation's educators through an exclusive sales force of approximately 900 agents.
