BET Holdings Inc. has also continued to leverage its brand identity into new businesses outside the cable industry. These businesses include two publications - Emerge: Black America's News Magazine and BET Weekend, now the nation's second largest black publication with more than 1.2 million readers; MSBET MSBET Microsoft, Black Entertainment Television , a partnership with Microsoft Corp. that produces internet and interactive content; and BET SoundStage, a successful, entertainment-themed restaurant that will be opened in 20 additional U.S. cities.
