) announced today that it has promoted Peg Ohrt to Senior Vice President, Human Resources The fancy word for "people." The human resources department within an organization, years ago known as the "personnel department," manages the administrative aspects of the employees. . Ms. Ohrt, who has been with the Company since July 1998, previously held the position of Vice President, Human Resources. She was hired in 1998 to develop the Human Resources department for the Company.

Ms. Ohrt is responsible for all human resources functions. She has been involved with the management and coordination of benefits, recruitment of employees and the creation of new programs for employees and the Company.

"We are recognizing Peg's contributions over the past 9 years with this promotion. She has been crucial to COPT's growth and a key contributor to its success," stated Randall M. Griffin, President and Chief Executive Officer. "She built our human resources department from the ground up and has made considerable contributions to the Company by improving benefits, seeking excellent talent and implementing new programs to benefit our employees," he stated.
