) has commenced construction on The National Business Park MarketPlace, a new 10,480 square foot retail center designed to primarily service the needs of the more than 5000 employees presently working in the business community.

The center, which includes a brick exterior, surface parking lot and 25 foot tall clock tower, is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of this year.

Slated to fill The National Business Park MarketPlace are Charm City Concierge, a fitness center and a full-service deli. Charm City Concierge offers a range of business and personal services personal services n. in contract law, the talents of a person which are unusual, special or unique and cannot be performed exactly the same by another. The distinctive feature of the retail center is a four-sided, pyramid-shaped clock tower, with a working clock face appearing on each surface. The tower offers visibility to motorists and pedestrians traveling on National Business Parkway.

Corporate Office Properties currently owns and manages eight buildings in The National Business Park, comprising more than 900,000 square feet of space, which is currently 100% leased. The Company has also commenced construction of two additional Class A office buildings, which will add 268,000 square feet of space to the 275-acre office park in Annapolis Junction, Maryland Maryland (mâr`ələnd), one of the Middle Atlantic states of the United States. It is bounded by Delaware and the Atlantic Ocean (E), the District of Columbia (S), Virginia and West Virginia (S, W), and Pennsylvania (N). .
