Over 600 top-level executives attended Nutracon, the Event for Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods and Natural Products, in San Diego this week.

CEOs, presidents, R & D directors, and scientists attended two full days of conferences and exhibits surrounding the nutraceutical industry. Companies represented by attendees included Bayer, Campbell Soup Company, General Mills, Glaxo Smith Kline, Kellogg's, Kraft, Ralston Purina, Merck, Pfizer, Quaker Oats and Roche.

New this year was the Clinical Applications Track designed to help allied health care professionals and experts in science and academia evaluate the latest clinical findings on nutraceuticals, botanicals, cosmoceuticals and natural foods and apply them in a clinical setting.
