Coronado Industries Well Positioned for Growth in 2005 Following Successful Completion of Several 2004 Milestones.

--Company Successfully Certifies Equipment to New Standards Ahead of Schedule

Coronado Industries Inc., the manufacturers of unique proprietary pneumatic devices for the non-invasive treatment of glaucoma, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ophthalmic International, reviewed their accomplishments of 2004 and their plans for 2005.

Richard Smith, CEO of Coronado Industries, said he was delighted with the progress the company made during 2004. "This past year was a make or break year for us as a company. Following the strengthening of our management team in 2003 with the addition of Drs. John Sharkey and Francesco Aspes, we made the strategic decision to focus our efforts on achieving European registration of our PNT device. A revised strategic plan was put in place and the entire management team, with assistance from our partners Eupharmed s.r.l. (Italy) and Izasa s.a. (Spain and Portugal), focused their efforts executing against the plan. As a result of this effort, we ended the year with the first European commercial sales of our PNT device and enter 2005 with sales commitments from our partners for the next five years."

Aspes, head of Europe for the company, updated the progress being made toward commercialization of PNT in Italy, Spain and Portugal. "Both of our partners successfully launched the PNT device in their countries over the last 60 days with dozens of PNT devices being placed at strategic glaucoma centers and with key opinion leaders in both the academic and private sectors."

Focus of our partners at the start of 2005 is on sales. To date, the response has been very positive and sales estimates have been increased dramatically for 2005.

Awareness of the PNT procedure is increasing as a result of the efforts of our partners. RAI television, the largest broadcast network in Italy, recently interviewed Prof. Corrado Balacco-Gabrieli, director of Eye Clinic, Universita La Sapienza, Roma who is performing the procedure at his clinic. Balacco-Gabrieli said that the first results on his patients with PNT are very positive. "With the addition of PNT we have been able to lower the IOP in patients who were not sufficiently controlled on medications, and bring them in line with their IOP target levels. This is very exciting," he said.

Gary Smith, president of Coronado Industries, said he was extremely pleased with the progress being made toward signing on additional distributors. "Dr. Aspes is in discussion with potential distributors for several European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey. Dr. Sharkey is negotiating with possible partners in other countries including Canada, China and Australia. While Dr. Sharkey is in discussions with companies interested in obtaining the U.S. rights to our product, we are also reevaluating the possibility of completing the registration process ourselves. We remain optimistic that several of these discussions will come to a successful conclusion within the near future and we will be able to inform our stockholders of additional revenue-generating contracts for our patented device."

Sharkey, president of Ophthalmic International, said he was extremely pleased with the progress the company has made over the past year. "Our accomplishments this past year include completion of our 2a CE mark allowing for the sale of our equipment within the European Union, certification of our manufacturing and distribution to the applicable ISO standards, and most recently the successful meeting, ahead of schedule, of the recently revised safety and electrical standards for medical equipment which will come into effect in the middle of 2005. We are also very happy to have had our first manuscript on the use of PNT accepted for expedited publication by Annals of Ophthalmology. We were recently informed that this article will appear in the next issue Annals, which is scheduled for release in March. The accomplishments of the past year are just another indication that this company has all the components in place for and is focused on success and growth for the years ahead," he said.

In closing, Smith said that he believes the company has finally overcome the obstacles which were preventing this company transitioning from an R&D based company, to a medical device company with sales and revenue generation -- and expects that 2005 will provide growth and profitability to our company and our shareholders.
