Coronado Industries Looks to Europe's Best Markets on Completion of 2A Certification Process.

Coronado Industries Inc. (OTCBB: CDIK) said today that in anticipation of the positive completion of the 2A application for approval, the company is poised to generate revenues from some of Europe's most productive markets. With distribution agreements covering Italy, North Africa, Spain and Portugal already in place, the company's marketing team said that they were well placed to increase distribution of Coronado's patented PNT glaucoma treatment procedure in other lucrative European and international markets.

Richard Smith, CEO of Coronado Industries, said that there was a huge need around the world for an effective alternative treatment of glaucoma such as that which had been perfected by Coronado. Glaucoma, he said, is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide. In the United States alone, approximately 2 million suffer from some degree of visual loss from the disease.

Glaucoma is particularly prevalent in emerging countries around the world. According to Ministry of Health reports, it is one of the main causes of blindness among adults and children in Africa and similar conditions exist in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. "According to the best surveys, almost 150 million worldwide are already affected by glaucoma and by 2020, 210 million people worldwide will be affected by this disease. It is our hope that we can introduce our non-invasive technology to these and to other markets in due course," said Smith.

Coronado Industries, has for the past seven years, been dedicated to the development and commercialization of its patented glaucoma treatment device which treats open angle and pigmentary glaucoma.
