Coronado Industries Generates Strong Interest At ASCRS 2001 San Diego Symposium; Company's Medical Director Addresses Standing Room Only Audience.

Coronado Industries (OTC BB: CDIK), a manufacturer of proprietary pneumatic devices for the effective treatment of glaucoma, today announced that its senior medical directors, Drs. Leo Bores and John LiVecchi, presented information on the Company's Pneumatic Trabeculoplasty (PNT(TM)) treatment system to ophthalmologists and other medical professionals at the recent American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Symposium (ASCRS). The symposium was held in San Diego, California from April 28th through May 2nd, 2001.

In addition to a series of lectures and multi-media presentations on the PNT technology, Dr. Bores addressed the annual Innovators' Meeting. Dr. Bores is a former recipient of the Innovators in Ophthalmology Award from the ASCRS in 1995, when he was described as the person most responsible for refractive eye surgery.

Both Dr. Bores and Dr. LiVecchi fielded questions about PNT throughout the event in response to avid interest demonstrated by the thousands of medical professionals present at the symposium, which draws attendees both from the United States and an international audience.
