Coronado Industries Announces Publication of PNT Monotherapy Manuscript in European Journal of Ophthalmology; The Second Major Publication on PNT to Appear This Year in a Peer Reviewed Medical Journal.

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. -- Coronado Industries Inc. (OTCBB: CDIK), the manufacturers of unique proprietary pneumatic devices for the non-invasive treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension, announced today the publication of the manuscript entitled "Pilot Study to Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Pneumatic Trabeculoplasty (PNT) in Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertensive," in the current issue of the European Journal of Ophthalmology. The study was performed by Professors Bucci, Centofanti, Oddone and Parravano of the Clinica Oculistica, Universita di Roma Tor Vergata, Rome, Fondazione G.B. Bietti per l'Oftalmologia, ONLUS; Professors Balacco-Gabrieli, Pecori-Giraldi, Librando and Paone of Clinica Oculistica, Universita "la Sapienza," Rome, Italy and Dr. Leo Bores, Fountain Hills, Ariz.

The 37-patient trial required the patients be removed from all glaucoma medication and utilize only Pneumatic Trabeculoplasty (PNT) to control their IOP. PNT is a non-invasive procedure involving the application of a single-use, disposable ring to the surface of the eye through which a vacuum is applied. The procedure is performed in the ophthalmologist's office approximately every 3-4 months. The results from the study demonstrated that approximately 75% of the study participants were PNT responders.
