Cornucopia Resources Ltd. announces agreement for best efforts financing.VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1996-- Cornucopia cornucopia (kôr'ny kō`pēə), in Greek mythology, magnificent horn that filled itself with whatever meat or drink its owner requested. Resources Ltd. - the Vancouver-based mining group - announces that it has entered into an agreement for a best efforts financing to raise approximately Cdn. $2,616,000 by way of issue of Special Warrants. Under the terms of the offering, Cornucopia will issue a total of 2,180,000 Special Warrants at Cdn. $1.20 per Special Warrant, each Special Warrant exchangeable for one unit comprised of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. Each share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of Cdn. $1.50 at any time until May 15, 1998. The funds will be used for general working capital purposes, and closing of this transaction will take place on or about Nov. 14, 1996. The net proceeds Net Proceeds The amount received after all costs are deducted from the sale of a piece of property or security.
