Through its Display Technologies business, Corning manufactures two glass substrate compositions, 1737 which is currently the worldwide AMLCD industry standard, and the new EAGLE2000 (TM) glass. Over the last few years, Corning has been investing to expand capacity to keep pace with growing AMLCD demand, including the opening of a facility in Tainan, Taiwan.
