) today announced that it has priced $400 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Unsecured Notes. $200 million 5.90 percent in Senior Notes will mature on March 15, 2014, and $200 million 6.20 percent in Senior Notes will mature on March 15, 2016. Subject to customary closing conditions the transaction is expected to close on March 12, 2004. The notes are being issued by Corning pursuant to Corning's existing $5 billion universal shelf registration statement, which became effective in March 2001. Net proceeds Net Proceeds
