) Telecommunications segment, has been listed by the Rural Development Utilities Program (RDUP) for its complete portfolio of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH (Fiber To The Home) See FTTP. ) products, including both cable and hardware.

The RDUP recently added Corning Cable Systems' OptiSheath(TM) Advantage MultiPort Terminals and OptiFit(R) Advantage Drop Cable Assemblies to its list of approved products. With this listing, Corning Cable Systems is the only manufacturer to have a complete tip-to-tip passive product portfolio listed by the RDUP.

In addition to the newly added products, the RDUP has previously listed Corning Cable Systems' OptiTect(TM) Advantage and Premier Local Convergence Point (LCP (Link Control Protocol) See PPP.
