Cornerstone Completes Development of Driver for Scan-Optics 7800 High-Speed Scanner; Scan-Optics 7800 Accurately Scans Over 350+ Images Per Minute.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 1996--Cornerstone Imaging, Inc., a provider of hardware and software components for integrating scanned documents into standard computing systems, today announced availability of ISIS drivers, for the Scan-Optics 7800 scanner. The Scan-Optics 7800 is targeted at production scanning environments where tens to hundreds of thousands of pages are captured each day. The 7800 scanner has a full range of standard and optional features including simplex or duplex scanning, unique automatic-feed, doubles detection, auto-deskewing, image auto-sizing, intermixed document feeder, serializer, bar code recognition, patch code detection and output resolution up to 300 dpi. The ISIS driver developed by Cornerstone's Software Tools division, Pixel Translations, Inc., enables VARS and end-users to access the advanced features of the Scan-Optics 7800.
