SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 1998--Cornerstone Imaging, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRNR), a leading provider of high-performance monitors and graphics controllers for business, today announced a new 21-inch CRT monitor, the Color 50/95, as the flagship model of the new Corporate Line of monitors.

Cornerstone is dividing its product line into two, the Professional and the Corporate lines. The Professional Line is for users that require the highest performance and image quality commercially available. The Corporate Line delivers many similar attributes of the Professional Line at a more affordable price. The company also announced new prices in its Professional Line.

Color 50/95 in the Corporate Line:

In keeping with Cornerstone's commitment of providing large-screen, high-resolution monitors with high refresh rates and superior image quality, the Color 50/95 features high performance specifications delivering vibrant colors and sharp text at an affordable price. The Color 50/95 will be introduced with an estimated street price (ESP) of $1,100 and will be available through Cornerstone's extensive reseller and distributor network during the first week of February.

The new Color 50/95 and the Color 40/95 (17-inch CRT) are both part of Cornerstone's new Corporate Line. Designed for users who need high performance at an affordable price, these monitors deliver excellent legibility and performance for working on common office productivity, database and Internet applications.

Professional Monitors Deliver the Absolute Best:

The Professional Line is comprised of three monitors: the Color 50/115sf (21-inch CRT), the Color 50/101sf (21-inch CRT), and the Color 45/101sf (19-inch CRT). With technologies like SuperFocus and high-contrast screen coatings, the Professional Line features the highest bandwidth and image quality commercially available.
