Cornerstone Announces New 19" Short Depth Monitor.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 1998--Cornerstone, a leading provider of high performance, large screen monitors and business graphics controller cards, announced today the newest addition to monitor line -- the c900. The c900 is a 19-inch CRT monitor and is equipped with new Short Neck technology and high contrast Crystal Pigment coating. The c900 is available immediately through Cornerstone's nationwide network of resellers and distributors with an estimated street price of $750.

The c900's innovative features include new Short Neck technology, which provides users with a drastically reduced footprint for increased workspace on the desktop. At 16.3" deep, the c900 is equivalent to a standard 15-inch monitor in depth, two inches shorter than standard 19-inch monitors. The reduced depth is made possible by a 100 degree deflection yoke, which allows for a shorter CRT tube.

The c900 features high-contrast Crystal Pigment coating, which provides high contrast and rich, vibrant colors. It also has dual inputs. Both the standard VGA (15-pin mini D-Sub) and 5-pin BNC connectors allow users to hook two computers easily to the same monitor. The on-screen controls allow easy switching between either of the input connector types. The standard VGA cable ships standard with the c900 and allows users to take advantage of Cornerstone's Plug and Play compatibility.

The c900 runs at a 95 kHz Horizontal Scan Frequency providing users 1280 x 1024 resolution at 88Hz for optimum performance or 1200 x 1600 @ 76 Hz as the maximum. The high bandwidth results in superior image quality for eye pleasing, flicker free readability for corporate applications.
