(Nasdaq:BVSN), a leading worldwide supplier of personalized e-business applications, today announced a strategic alliance to further extend existing efforts to provide a powerful, hostable solution to build marketplace exchanges. The two companies will pool resources to develop and sell Marketmaker.net, powered by Corio, an integrated, template-based product based on the BroadVision(R) MarketMaker(TM) application that customers can utilize to quickly build a market exchange while realizing the cost advantages inherent in the ASP model. By building on Corio's eMarket initiative announced earlier this year, BroadVision and Corio are moving aggressively to meet the growing customer demand for hosted marketplaces.

BroadVision has been chosen by several e-marketplace customers based on its stellar reputation as a provider of robust and scalable e-business applications. Forrester Research predicts that the transaction volume in e-marketplaces will increase more than 75 fold in the next two years. BroadVision has been developing its B2B marketplace solutions to respond to complex transactional exchanges and to deliver exemplary customer service.

BroadVision MarketMaker takes the customer's e-marketplace beyond basic online commerce transactions, by enabling the creation and management of online communities though content management, customer intercommunication, and account management.
