Corio, Inc. (Nasdaq:CRIO), a leading enterprise application service provider, today announced that The Aberdeen Group, an industry analyst firm, named Corio the leading PeopleSoft ASP. The Aberdeen Group report states that Corio is the clear market leader with 27% of the total ASP market share for PeopleSoft applications.

The Aberdeen Group named Corio the leading ASP in managing PeopleSoft Applications in its Impact report, "Corio: Experience and Expertise Alleviate Risk for PeopleSoft ASP Clients." Aberdeen concluded that Corio demonstrated clear market leadership through its experience with 300 separate PeopleSoft projects under its belt and, over 100 PeopleSoft applications managed for its customers, including HRMS, payroll, financials, manufacturing and distribution systems. As further validation of its success, over 50% of Corio's customers have requested additional services.

The Aberdeen report highlights Corio's practice of setting up separate database instances for development, unit acceptance test (UAT), staging, disaster recovery and training to provide its customers with increased reliability. According to Aberdeen, the total number of instances under management reflects upon the skill level of the service provider because each additional instance expands the configuration and complexity of the solution.
