Corinthian: Sunday dream is at an end; Crosby Sunday.

Byline: BRIAN FLANAGAN

EABURN' S bid to reach the final of the FA National Sunday Cup came to an end at Marine FC with a heart-breaking 1-0 semi-final defeat to crack Bradford side Albion Sports.

But Carl Burleigh's side are still in contention for honours and will be hoping to gain some consolation when they take on Carrs Hotel in the LCFA Premier Cup final on April 10.

Canon Francis Cup semi-final action dominated the domestic fixture card, with the day's main upset seeing North Mersey Lions beaten 4-2 after extra time by ORR.

Lee Siadankay, Dave Clegg and Andy Millington were on the mark for North Mersey, but a hat-trick from Dave Williams and a Tom Smith strike saw ORR progress.
