Corinex President Joins ALYA Board; Private Placement Closed.


VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 1998--Dr. Peter Sobotka, president and chief executive officer of the Corinex Group, has been appointed a director of ALYA International, Inc. (OTC OTC

Roger Mutimer, ALYA's chief executive officer, made the announcement of Sobotka's appointment.

At the same time, Corinex completed a private placement with ALYA, investing US$250,000 to acquire 416,667 restricted shares at $0.60 per share.
