Corillian Appoints Chris Brooks as Chief Technology Officer.

Corillian Corp. (Nasdaq:CORI), a leading global provider of eFinance solutions, today announced its board of directors has approved the appointment of Chris Brooks as chief technology officer of Corillian.

Brooks, 33, has been serving as Corillian's vice president of engineering since May of 2000. As chief technology officer, Brooks will manage the overall direction and development of Corillian's product line. He will be responsible for defining technology strategy, system architecture and application products. Brooks will continue to report to Alex Hart, Corillian's president.

Prior to joining Corillian, Brooks worked at Micron Technology, where he led a team responsible for the delivery and support of production software for their worldwide computer memory fabrication facilities. Before Micron Technology, Brooks was a captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he led software teams for four years in developing cockpit research simulations. Brooks holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both computer science and electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. and a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering, with an emphasis on high-availability computing, from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
