Corgenix Adds Seasoned Biomedical Veterans to Management Team.

DENVER -- New Director of Manufacturing and Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs Support Corgenix's Strategic Growth Initiatives; R& D Staff Expanded

Corgenix Medical Corporation (OTC BB: CONX), a worldwide marketer of diagnostic test kits, has named Robert B. Abeyta, a 13-year veteran in the pharmaceutical and medical diagnostic industries, Director of Manufacturing and Kimberly N. Hassler, who brings 8 years of quality and regulatory experience in the biomedical industry, Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs.

Prior to joining Corgenix, Robert B. Abeyta was Production Planning Manager and Head of Marketing for Roche Colorado Corporation. Past experience includes a position as Manager of Materials, Planning and Facilities at Ischemia Technologies, as well as over six years at Geneva Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Production Operations Manager. At Corgenix, Abeyta will be responsible for managing and coordinating all areas of manufacturing and shipping to achieve timely production of quality products.

As Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Kimberly N. Hassler will direct all Company product support, quality assurance and regulatory agency requirements. Prior to joining the Corgenix team, Hassler served as Manager of Quality and Regulatory Compliance for Ischemia Technologies, Inc., where she was responsible for developing and managing the company's regulatory strategy and Quality Management System for compliance to FDA and other regulations. Hassler's past experience includes various quality assurance positions at Thermo Electron Corporation and Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals.

In addition to the hiring of Abeyta and Hassler, Corgenix also named F. Jon Geske, Ph.D. as Research Scientist to direct the research and development of several new clinical diagnostic products, as well as the creation of working prototypes of potential products. Previously, Geske served as Laboratory Director for ELISA Tech, where he supplied immunoassay kits and services. He received his B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and his Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
