A warrant has been issued by Central District Court in Worcester, charging her with kidnapping the baby. The baby girl remains in state custody.

In other news related to the case, a judge yesterday found Ms. Haynes' boyfriend, Roberto C. Rodriguez, in violation of his probation from a 2008 case in which he was charged with assaulting her.

Judge Robert G. Harbour found after a hearing in Central District Court that Mr. Rodriguez, 24, violated the terms of his probation by failing to complete a batterers' program. Judge Harbour extended Mr. Rodriguez's probation for one year and ordered him to complete the program.

Mr. Rodriguez had been charged with assault and battery on Ms. Haynes on Jan. 25, 2008, at 27 Douglas St., where the couple were then living. The case was continued without a finding and Mr. Rodriguez was placed on probation.

Mr. Rodriguez also has a pending case in which he is facing aggravated assault A person is guilty of aggravated assault if he or she attempts to cause serious bodily injury to another or causes such injury purposely, knowingly, or recklessly under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life; or attempts to cause or purposely or  and battery and intimidation of a witness charges stemming from an alleged June 24 assault on Ms. Haynes. Judge Harbour set an Oct. 28 trial date in that case.

DNA testing found a high probability that Mr. Rodriguez is the father of the baby girl Ms. Corey stands accused of kidnapping.
