 the 100th anniversary of Oahu Country Club. He had also recently accepted the position of assistant manager at the Embassy Suites hotel in Waikiki that is currently under construction. Originally from Washington, Voss moved with his parents to Hawaii when was five years old, and he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying barbecues with friends and surfing.

Voss leaves behind his wife of six years, Asa, who is expecting the couple's first child, a daughter named Ava, to be born in September.
