With such service-oriented goals for the program, Corepoint has developed strict criteria on which to base admission of its partners. Plans call for the program to grow by 400 percent by the end of 2000. Corepoint's Business Partner Program is based on the same tiered program design and technology support infrastructure that IBM is adopting for all its Business Partner programs.

As a company that was founded on the belief that establishing customer loyalty through managing customer relationships is the key to success, Corepoint has carefully designed its Business Partner Program to also provide real business benefits to its Business Partners.

A Basic Member receives such items as information and business/software discounts. An Advanced Partner is entitled to all the benefits of a Basic Member, with the addition of benefits such as extensive marketing support and strong technical services. The final category, Premier Partner, includes everything offered to the Basic and Advanced members as well as a listing on Corepoint's web site; Relationship Management support; and participation in company/customer events.
