Aside from offering all the standard personal information management capabilities for scheduling, contact management and voice annotation, Corel's PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) A handheld computer for managing contacts, appointments and tasks. This pocket device will enable the user to choose between either a monochrome or a color LCD screen and will run on a high-performance RISC processor. It will also come with re-chargeable batteries, a built-in modem for use with either a standard or cellular telephone, a wall-mount adapter, and a keyboard docking station for synchronizing data and re-charging batteries. Users will hold the PDA in a portrait position to access the PIM (1) (Protocol Independent Multicast) A multicast routing protocol endorsed by the IETF. Used in conjunction with an existing unicast routing protocol, it comes in two flavors: Dense Mode (PIM-DM) is used when recipients in the target group are in a concentrated  functions and in a landscape position for Internet browsing and emailing. Approximately three by four inches in size, Corel's PDA will retail for under $500 US.
