"This is the perfect example of the type of business relationship we had in mind when we acquired GraphicCorp back in April," said Carey Stanton, executive vice president of business development at Corel. "With the GraphicCorp acquisition, Corel became the leading supplier of clipart, photographs and Web images to software publishers and hardware manufacturers. We are pleased to be licensing this content to Broderbund."

GraphicCorp works with over 100 graphic designers around the world, and these relationships enable GraphicCorp to continually update and add new content to its collection.

"We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Corel to license these images," said Gordon Landies, general manager for the Broderbund unit of The Learning Company. "The addition of Corel's content to our vast library of images further strengthens our position as the leading provider of print creativity products."

Along with superior images, GraphicCorp offers a private-label Web site that allows companies to supply digital content to their customers. GraphicCorp currently has over two million clipart images, photographs, Web images, Web animations and downloadable applications in its collection and is acknowledged in the industry as the world's leading supplier of such digital content to software publishers and hardware manufacturers.

The GraphicCorp collection, together with Corel's vast collection of clipart and electronic images, puts Corel firmly in the top tier of digital content suppliers. Images from both collections can be found in Corel products and will be available at clipartcity.com July 9th.
