), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, has selected ATG's Commerce Suite to power Corel's global network of e-commerce sites. After investigating a variety of e-commerce solutions, Corel chose the ATG Commerce Suite for its unique advanced personalization capabilities and merchandising tools, which will put more control of each site into the hands of non-IT business users. Additionally, Corel will implement ATG Commerce Service Center, a contact center application integrating e-commerce functionality with back-end order administration, sales support and customer care features.

Having served as the e-commerce platform for various high-technology and global software brands, the ATG Commerce Suite is highly scalable and has earned a reputation as the best-in-class software for high-volume, sophisticated e-commerce sites. As Corel continues to grow its global presence, the company decided to invest in a next-generation e-commerce platform with ATG. Valued ATG implementation partner Desato will assist Corel in creating all of the new sites.

"Whenever we consider a new project, our primary motivation is to determine how we can best meet our users' needs and deliver a great experience with our company and products," said John Zoglin, vice president of e-commerce for Corel. "Our online stores play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal. When we evaluated the technology options available for improving our sites, we found that ATG's Commerce Suite offered the features and track record that supported our vision. With our new sites, Corel's global teams will have more control over the types of content and promotions they can provide our customers - giving them a customized experience that's even more relevant and compelling."
