A., as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. Mr. Blaine joins Corel from Sterling Commerce Inc., where he most recently served as vice-president and controller in its Dublin, Ohio corporate offices. In that executive role, Mr. Blaine was responsible for all periodic and special financial filings with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, monitoring of internal accounting controls and assisting in the acquisition of multiple companies. Prior to joining Sterling Commerce four years ago, Mr. Blaine held various executive positions during his six years with Sterling Software, Inc., the former parent company of Sterling Commerce.
