Kuleshov first entered the Corel World Design Contest in 1997, when he was honored as a monthly winner in the Landscapes and Landmarks category. His latest winning design, PROfile, was born from the idea of creating a still life using objects made of different substances. The design, which was created as a promotional poster for the PROfile Design Centre, depicts brushes and paints on a canvas backdrop. Kuleshov used features such as transparency, light rays, reflects and shadows to combine the still life with different backgrounds. "The canvas was a natural background for art brushes, paint and other supplies," said Kuleshov. "I added water drops to bring the scene to life and give it a sense of presence."
