(OTC BB: EBIZ) the leading "vendor-neutral" source for Linux(R) products, technical support and community services for the B2B market, Friday announced Corel Corp.'s March 30th press release providing recent market information from PC Data indicates that Corel's market share in the Linux U.S. retail market has increased significantly since November of 1999.

According to PC Data, as of November 1999, Corel held a 2.3 percent(a) share of the Linux U.S. retail market. That market share has increased by more than eight times to 19.3 percent(b) as of February 2000.

North American customers will have their first opportunity to purchase WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux(R) this coming weekend when it arrives on store shelves in the U.S. and Canada. WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux is the first marquee application for Linux and the next step in Corel's vision to deliver Linux to the desktop.

Corel is putting the customer first, also offering them the best of both worlds by partnering with EBIZ Enterprises. Corel LINUX OS and Microsoft Windows 98, as well as WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux OEM version and WordPerfect Office 2000 for Windows OEM version, will be bundled with EBIZ hardware. This move gives Corel the opportunity to bridge the gap between Windows and Linux.
