CoreNet chooses Philly for summit.


Philadelphia will serve as the host city to the CoreNet Global Summit in 2006, a group of local, state, regional and international business interests announced from the downtown headquarters of PECO PECO PaĆ­ses da Europa Central e Oriental (Portugal)

CoreNet Global is the world's leading professional association for corporate real estate executives who influence the site selection decisions of the world's top corporations and typically draw up to 3,000 of the industry's top decision makers to CoreNet Global Summits.

Officials for CoreNet Global joined with the organization's Philadelphia Chapter and featured guests including Pennsylvania Pennsylvania (pĕnsəlvā`nyə), one of the Middle Atlantic states of the United States. It is bordered by New Jersey, across the Delaware River (E), Delaware (SE), Maryland (S), West Virginia (SW), Ohio (W), and Lake Erie and New York  Governor Edward Rendell, former Pennsylvania Governor Mark Schweiker, Philadelphia Mayor John Street, and the Secretaries of Commerce and Economic Development for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

 Binzel cited Pennsylvania's pro-business climate and the state's successful outreach Outreach is an effort by an organization or group to connect its ideas or practices to the efforts of other organizations, groups, specific audiences or the general public.  to recruit new business and industry as reasons for the selection of Philadelphia as the conference's host city by the CoreNet Global Board of Directors.
