Core Technology to provide Unisys FTRapid high speed server and client/server file transfer technology to Unisys client base.BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1996--Unisys Corp. Tuesday announced that it has signed an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and agreement with Core Technology Corp. of Lansing, Mich., a software marketing firm specializing in client/server software for Unisys systems. Under the agreement Core Technology will market the complete line of Unisys FTRapid high speed file transfer products world wide. The FTRapid suite of products includes processor efficient high-speed connectivity among Unisys A Series, ClearPath NX, and V Series enterprise servers and client packages available on IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company.
