Cordant Announces Management Reporting, Monitoring and Compliance Solution for Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Cordant Inc., a leading provider of solutions for Enterprise Instant Messaging Exchanging text messages in real time between two or more people logged into a particular instant messaging (IM) service. Instant messaging is more interactive than e-mail because messages are sent immediately, whereas e-mail messages can be queued up in a mail server for seconds or  (IM) applications, today announced the release of IMConsole 2005(TM), its solution for Microsoft's enterprise-grade IM and presence awareness platform, Microsoft Office Live Microsoft Office Live is an Internet-based software service designed for small businesses with fewer than ten employees launched on February 15, 2006,[1] and is part of Microsoft's Windows Live initiative.  Communications Server 2005.

Available immediately, Cordant's IMConsole 2005(TM) with its Real-time Presence Dashboard will allow organizations to monitor the real-time aggregate usage of IM throughout the organization. Enterprises can use IMConsole 2005 for either compliance requirements or alternatively for operational monitoring of their IM deployments. IMConsole 2005 offers options to either retain or drop message contents while providing a rich set of management reports and statistics about IM usage, users, servers, and auditing activity. Such statistics could be particularly relevant for monitoring Public IM usage throughout the enterprise.
