Coral Systems names Don Winters as vice president of business development; telecommunications industry veteran joins Coral Systems from AirTouch Communications.


LONGMONT, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 1996--Coral Systems Inc., a leading provider of innovative software products for the wireless industry, named 18-year telecommunications industry veteran Don Winters as vice president of business development.

Winters, who joins Coral Systems from AirTouch Communications, brings extensive management and strategic technology development experience. Winters held several key positions at AirTouch Communications, including managing director of corporate technology, director of technology transfer and director of network management systems.

His responsibilities included contributions to the strategic technology direction of the company and overseeing the development and deployment of system technology which included fraud prevention tactics. In addition, Winters was charged with the management of AirTouch's technology portfolio and the maintenance of business partnerships.
